Xiaomi 13 to launch with 6.2-inch 2K display, 120W fast charging & more
The new flagship phone from Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is presently under development and is scheduled to go on sale in the upcoming weeks.
Before the Xiaomi 13’s much anticipated arrival, the Internet was ablaze with rumours and information about the device, which is said to be jam-packed with useful features.
It was already revealed that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship SoC will power the Xiaomi 13. In addition, the phone will have a 6.2-inch screen with a 2K (or 1440p) resolution.
Additionally, according to recent reports, the forthcoming smartphone will feature 120W rapid charging. If this rumour is accurate, the Xiaomi 13 will receive a 67W charging increase over the Xiaomi 12.
In the meantime, the smartphone might have a cutting-edge camera to provide users with a remarkable photography experience. According to rumours, the Xiaomi 13 would include a 50 MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation on the back. According to the source, a Sony IMX 8-series image sensor will power the camera.
However, current rumours also claim that the Xiaomi 13 device may be renamed the Xiaomi 14 and released. Based on pictures of retail box packing that have been circulating online, the development has been reported. According to reports, the images were published on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. A few significant details about the model were also displayed in the photographs.
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has not responded to the media’s rumours about the name. However, many predict that Xiaomi 13 will replace Xiaomi 11 and Xiaomi 12 as the name of the forthcoming devices.
