Surprising moments might occur during award speeches. Kanye West mocked Beck’s great moment after the Album of the Year award was revealed in 2015. Needless to say, fans quickly discovered that Taylor Swift is not alone in getting stopped during award shows.
And who can forget the daring red carpet fashions that are displayed before celebrities even sit down? Lady Gaga came in an egg pod in 2011 before changing outfits several times. Jennifer Lopez’s plunging Versace jungle-print gown from 2000 also left people speechless.

While performing as a pregnant musician isn’t unusual, rapping and singing live on your due date is. This is exactly what the “Paper Planes” rapper did in 2009, when she performed “Swagga Like Us” with T.I., Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, and Kanye West on stage. Fortunately, the baby waited a few days before arriving.

The actress from A Star Is Born had an out-of-this-world experience when she arrived on the red carpet in an egg pod. Models in gold gowns carried the vessel past the crowds to the staging area, where she crawled to perform.
Macklemore & Kendrick Lamar, 2014
Even Macklemore was taken aback when The Heist won Album of the Year. He was so taken aback that he texted Kendrick Lamar to apologise. “You were robbed. I really wanted you to win, “The star informed his rival. “You ought to have. It’s strange, and it stinks that I robbed you.” While Macklemore apologised profusely, Drake labelled the public apology “wack as f—k.”
Beck & Kanye West, 2015
He received a lot of backlash after interrupting Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009. Perhaps this is why the celebrity changed his mind about taking the mic away from Album of the Year winner Beck. Beck invited Kanye to speak up, but the musician simply returned to his seat as stunned onlookers looked on.

When the Lemonade star entered the stage in a sparkling gold gown and crown, it was a sight to behold. She was significantly pregnant with twins Sir and Rumi at the time, and she danced and sung to “Sandcastles” and “Love Drought.” While Queen B’s performances are all great, this is without a doubt one of her most memorable.
