The Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2023, Session 1 results were revealed today by the National Testing Agency. Candidates who took the exam can view their results on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. On February 6, the final provisional answer key for JEE Main 2023 was released. The provisional answer key was issued on February 2, and students had until February 4 to challenge it.
The examinations were held on January 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31, and February 1. The exam on January 28 was for B Arch and B Planning, while the others were for BE and BTech. Previously, the tests were scheduled for January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31. However, it was pushed back to February 1 for two reasons: students would have difficulty travelling just a day after Republic Day, and there would be no confrontations with the sixth edition of PM’s Pariksha Pe Charcha. This year’s JEE Main was marred by various problems, ranging from date changes to eligibility criterion changes.
The first session of JEE Main 2023 has the highest ever attendance of 95.8 percent. This year, JEE is divided into two sessions. The second session will be place on the following dates: April 6, 8, 10, 11, and 12. The exam’s reserve days are April 13 and 15. Session two registration will begin on February 7.
The eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2023 are that candidates must have passed the class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or be appearing in 2023, regardless of their age. Candidates who passed their class 12/equivalent examination in 2020 or earlier, as well as those who will take such an examination in 2024, are eligible to take the entrance exam.
