The biggest change of the evening was the departure of Kane Williamson and Mayank Agarwal, the respective captains of Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings. Numerous other well-known figures have also been made public, like Jason Holder and Nicholas Pooran, among others. In the meantime, Kieron Pollard declared his resignation from the IPL and that he would now serve as the batting coach for the Mumbai Indians. With the highest bid, Sunrisers Hyderabad will participate in the mini auction. They have 42.25 crore lef and released 12 players.
